“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

About us

Voice for Disabled People Association (VDPA) is Kenyan community based organization registered by the government of Kenya. VPDA started as a beacon of hope for the disabled people with retrograding physical and health issues through awareness campaigns, arranging seminars & group discussion, providing livelihood, hiring experts for the training of these disable people and also arranging sport events & tournament and providing adult education to them. The organization is based in Kenya precisely in kakuma a refugee’s camp.

At VDPA we take the time to develop a close relationship and understand the voice of the disable people based in the refugee camp that we are living in. VDPA started in 2013 with the goal of helping the disable people in kakuma refugee camp.
